Straight edge

Made of stainless, hardened tool steel.

Designed to check unevenness on the coating of skis or snowboards simply by using the light-gap method:

- The straight edge is placed with the measuring blade on the surface to be tested and simultaneously held against a light source.

- The resulting light gap indicates the evenness or, more precisely, the unevenness or waviness of the coating of the skis or snowboard.

- Depending on the illumination, deviations from 0.002mm can be detected.
