The base edge angle determines how aggressive and direct the response of your ski or snowboard is.
The smaller the edge angle, the more aggressive and direct the response.

Rule of thumb:

0.6° to 1.0°

1.0° to 2.0
- Universal for regular skiing on the slopes
- Skis for sale come in 1.0° to 1.5°
- Freerider and powder wide skis 1.5° to 2.0°
